Getting to know Lucinda Guarino
Hi, there, I'm Lucinda! Are you struggling a bit in your day-to-day activities? Would you like to begin to have a feeling of peace again—more like yourself? I work with women and men ages 14 and over and specialize in anxiety, life transitions, emotional challenges, and trauma. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and am also happy to work with clients who desire to meet with someone from a faith-based, Christian perspective. We'll work together to identify what's working and what's not working in your life and then find workarounds to improve how you feel. Seeking therapy can be scary, but I'm here to make your journey a safe place to grow and heal. In our time together, I'll meet you with compassion and unconditional regard, so you can overcome the thoughts and situations that hold you back. I can't wait to meet you!
What should a new client know about working with you?
My style and approach fit well with clients struggling with anxiety, life transitions, and emotional challenges. These challenges often include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and family disharmony. My approach also benefits those struggling with grief, unresolved trauma, and PTSD. I help my clients navigate these transition periods and build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life. My approach to goal setting with you rests in collaborative efforts, working together to identify what you want to accomplish and finding the best, most direct ways to get there. We begin by getting to know one another, and by building trust, we can navigate the therapy process in a safe and accepting environment.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
