Lucy Hatch, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I would describe myself as warm, compassionate, genuine, and a little goofy. I believe therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy or clinical, and I’m not afraid to laugh with my clients when the moment calls for it. I want you to feel like you can show up as your authentic self in our sessions. My approach is person-centered, which means I meet you where you are and believe you are the expert on your own life. I’m not here to tell you who you should be or what you should do. Instead, I’m here to listen, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and support you in finding what works best for you. I bring curiosity, empathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude into the therapy room. I also believe that meaningful therapy can include both honest conversations and moments of humor. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while having someone genuinely in your corner as you work toward the changes you want to make. First session My goal for the first session is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and a little clearer about how therapy can support you. We will focus on building a comfortable and supportive therapeutic relationship by getting to know one another, not as a client and therapist, but as unique individuals. Then, we will talk about what brings you into therapy, what you would like to work towards, and your expectations in the therapy space. Collaboratively, we will develop a plan on how to navigate and maximize our work together. Strengths What makes my approach stand out is the combination of my professional training and the personal experiences that have shaped how I understand healing. My own experiences have given me a deeper appreciation for how difficult it can be to navigate life’s challenges, relationships, and past experiences, and they have strengthened my belief that everyone deserves a space where they feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
