Hi there! My name is Lucy Koerner. I am the owner of Humble Angel Counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Arizona. I feel blessed that you stopped by to see what I can offer. It takes great courage to make the choice to reach out for counseling, and it is the first step in an incredible journey! As a certified trauma therapist, I am passionate about healing that happens as we care for the mind, body, and soul. I believe strongly in the human capacity for healing and the ability to live in peace and joy. When people experience trauma or difficult life circumstances, they can find themselves stuck in unhealthy patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior that cause negative self-beliefs, emotional disturbance, and somatic responses in the body that can be self-destructive and wounding. There is hope! And you are not alone. As a Certified Trauma Therapist, I am well informed and specialize in treating trauma with EMDR and other trauma modalities. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you heal and learn to live your fullest life!

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
