Psychotherapist

I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. With four years of experience as a medical social worker, I take a warm yet direct approach, using cognitive behavioral therapy and strengths-based practices to help clients make practical and meaningful changes. I have a particular passion for supporting older adults and anyone navigating major life transitions. In our first session together, here's what you can expect During our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on, at whatever pace feels comfortable. We’ll talk through your history, current concerns, and any immediate needs you have. By the end of our time together, we’ll begin identifying a few initial goals so you leave feeling heard, supported, and grounded in a clear direction. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions With my background as a medical social worker, I bring a strong understanding of how health changes, loss, and major transitions affect mental well-being. I’m skilled at helping clients explore emotional reactions, build coping strategies, and adjust to new realities with confidence and compassion. Clients often tell me they feel calmer, more informed, and more capable after working together. The clients I'm best positioned to serve I’m best positioned to help clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficulty adjusting to a recent change—whether that’s a health diagnosis, a shift in family roles, or a major life transition. I work well with motivated adults who want a therapist who is both warm and direct, and who appreciate a structured, CBT-based approach to building resilience and moving forward.
