Getting to know Ludivina Valdez

My focus is to empower you to accomplish your goals and to help you live a more fulfilling life. I'm able to create a personalized experience based on your needs. I've worked with children, adolescents, adults and couples. The topics I've assisted clients with are depression, anxiety, self esteem, women's issues, family dynamics, domestic violence, substance abuse and self harm. I thoroughly enjoy helping clients overcome challenges they are not able to work through alone. I've been EMDR trained to work with clients who have experienced trauma. I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and I received my Master's degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in December 2007. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with Individuals who need an unbiased comfortable space to discuss life's challenges. By working with various populations for 16 years, I have learned that there is no one way to approach each person. I'm able to incorporate your religious and spiritual beliefs if necessary and I utilize a client centered approach. As we work together it is my hope you can be restored and have a sense of peace. I look forward to working with you!
