I am a Texas Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Prairie View A&M University and a Doctorate degree in Christian Counseling. Additionally, I hold a second doctorate degree along with several academic degrees in science and education from universities on three different continents! As a trained scientist and a mental health therapist, I am very analytical and detail-oriented in my counseling approach. I have expertise in helping clients deal with anxiety, depression, grief, parenting difficulties, marital problems, family conflicts, relationship challenges, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), fear, self-worth/self-love, self-esteem, stress, and more. Furthermore, as a certified and experienced Educational Counselor, I have helped hundreds of youths prepare for college, with many gaining entrance into top universities! Professional experience: 4 years in practice. Additional areas of focus include relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, parenting issues, career difficulties, coping with life changes, coaching, compassion fatigue, aging and geriatric issues, blended family issues, codependency, commitment issues, communication problems, coping with natural or human-caused disasters, emptiness, family problems, forgiveness, guilt and shame, immigration issues, life purpose, money and financial issues, multicultural concerns, post-traumatic stress, prejudice and discrimination, self-love, women's issues, and workplace issues.
