Getting to know Lydia Hentz

Hi, I'm Lydia. Are you a mother adjusting to life with a newborn? Is the transition to parenthood different than what you were expecting? Do you feel like you are faking it when you are really drowning? Are you exhausted and struggling with self-doubt? Maybe you are longing to hold your newborn, but instead experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. I specialize in maternal mental health, where I help perinatal and postpartum clients adjust to life changes associated with their unique situations. With a Master's degree (MA) and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions. My areas of expertise are in pregnancy and postpartum support, trying to conceive, birth trauma, and loss. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness in sessions to promote recovery. Starting therapy can be daunting, but you deserve to have a space where you can be vulnerable and not face any judgment.
