Lynda Cokuslu, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
Life can feel overwhelming, especially during times of transition, loss, or when past wounds resurface. I specialize in helping teens, adults and couples navigate challenges related to addiction, grief, trauma, gambling, life transitions, farm-related stress, and relationship issues. My approach is grounded in compassion and curiosity. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences and begin to rediscover your strengths. In our first few sessions, we’ll discuss your goals and expectations, assess where you are emotionally, and begin charting a path forward—together. What makes my practice unique is both my clinical experience and my life journey. I’ve lived internationally, including a time in Istanbul, and I believe these diverse life experiences help me connect with clients on a deeper level. Whether it’s riding a camel or owning a horse, my life outside the office informs the empathy and insight I bring into session. I’m passionate about helping people with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I support clients who are emotionally overwhelmed or facing burnout or negative thoughts using CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I work with couples, gamblers, and those in farming communities—tailoring care to uncover insight and move forward with purpose.
