Lynda Hua, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hello, I'm Lynda. I specialize in working with individuals who are looking to improve their relationships, whether that be with others or themselves. My goal is to offer professional guidance and support to help you navigate ongoing relationship issues and family conflicts. Together, we can work on understanding your feelings and finding tools to make more fulfilling choices in life, whether that involves work, school, friends, family, or your love life. My clinical experience spans working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who face challenges such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, anger management, ADHD, and trauma. I am deeply passionate about empowering my clients to overcome any trauma they have encountered, including childhood trauma and surviving sexual abuse. Additionally, I am dedicated to working with Asian communities to bring awareness to mental health and assist Asian Americans in navigating their struggles. Being fluent in both Vietnamese and English, my multicultural and multilingual background allows me to understand, accept, and work effectively with clients of all ethnicities and genders, particularly those dealing with acculturation and generation gap issues. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. I engage my clients from a person-centered perspective and incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These methods help improve social and family relationships, increase self-esteem, enhance communication, and develop problem-solving skills. My aim is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can heal from your past, accept your present, and enhance your future. If you're ready to start this journey towards a more fulfilling life, I am here to support you every step of the way.
