I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive training and experience in both individual and family therapy. I approach psychotherapy from a social work and family systems theoretical perspective, evaluating each individual's unique situation, their coping challenges , their experiences and always , their strengths. All stages of life challenge our coping abilities, my approach is always aimed to increase understanding of the obstacles to optimal functioning and mobilize strengths to overcome them. Throughout life , everyone will have emotionally stressful times, psychotherapy provides an opportunity to gain perspective, balance emotional states and is often the best way to make changes that improve daily life and aid in future wellness.
