Lyndsey Kidd, LCSW

Lyndsey Kidd, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Florida and Oregon. I received my Master's degree from Louisiana State University and have been practicing for 9 years. I help adults ages 18+ struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, divorce, general mental health, PTSD, mood disorders, Bi-polar, personality disorders, suicidal ideations, self-harm, grief/loss, life transitions, anger management and many other mental health challenges to become the best versions of themselves. I became a social worker because I want to help people feel better about themselves and their lives. I no longer wanted to be "just an employee" and work for a large organization. I wanted to use my strengths and abilities to help others because it would be challenging and rewarding. Therapy is a form of "self-care", and we will work together as a team to address your specific challenges, goals, and needs. I am dedicated, passionate, and caring. I love working with individuals who are willing to take a look at themselves and make necessary changes for long-term growth. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their problems.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session together, we will complete the intake, and I will ask questions to gather more information. We will also create your treatment plan and find out what your goals are for therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Having worked with diverse populations varying in age, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status for the past 9 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
