AZ
My name is Lyndz Simpson-Reblin, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have worked both in inpatient psychiatric crisis settings and in outpatient and private practice environments. I utilize evidence-based practices and tools to assist my clients in obtaining the help they need. My approach During therapy, I use a variety of theoretical approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Humanistic, Trauma-informed care, sand tray therapy, play therapy, and interpersonal therapy. My focus I work with adults and children of all ages. I am EMDR and Sand Tray trained and use evidence-based tools to help my clients achieve the best possible outcomes. Some of the areas I specialize in include trauma, children and adolescents, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, co-occurring disorders, and more. My communication style I create an environment where everyone is treated with respect and shown compassion, understanding, and empathy. My journey to mental healthcare I was drawn to becoming a therapist because I have always enjoyed helping others. There is something about supporting others that I feel called to do, and I am grateful for the opportunity. My goals for you Goal setting is an important part of therapy that helps clients identify and work toward specific objectives. I typically approach goal setting with clients by following these steps: - Collaboration: We work together to identify your goals. I may ask questions to help clarify your objectives and ensure they are realistic and achievable. - Specificity: Goals should be specific and measurable to help you track progress and stay motivated. - Relevance: Goals should be relevant to your needs and values to keep you engaged and committed. - Time-bound: Goals should have a clear timeline for completion to help you stay focused and motivated. Once the goals are established, we work together to achieve them.
