Getting to know Lynn Cohen

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 30 plus years of experience. I love what I do and bring that love to you. We will walk together down a path of healing. I offer this healing from trauma, grief, anxiety, shame based depression, feelings of worthlessness or feeling not enough. Many diagnosis start from a traumatic experience and we go into your experience together. During a terrible time of loss in my life almost 25 years ago, I did EMDR and my therapist pulled me out of my‚ rabbit hole‚ with her kindness and skill doing EMDR. This method goes from thought to feeling to sensation in the body. It is evidence based and you will feel the benefits after a few sessions. You will learn many skills and be able to use them for yourself when triggered. There will be relief and deep healing. I welcome you to my practice.
