She has helped me through many transitions in my early adulthood, the largest being recognizing a potential diagnosis of ADHD and directing me to seek formal diagnostics and meds, where I was formally diagnosed soon after. Her schedule is very flexible and she continually does all she is capable of to help you - especially in your most trying times. She never lets you forget that your experiences and feelings are yours, and no matter how big or small to others, you are validated in the strength it took for you to feel through it and to grow. Getting to know Lynn Guerra
I firmly believe we are the authors of our own stories. We may not always get to choose the characters or setting, but we have the ability to decide our own directions, which actions to take in order to achieve our goals. As a dedicated psychotherapist, I help individuals facing a variety of struggles, including anxiety, trouble focusing, stress, grief, and relationship conflicts. I am here to listen to your concerns, to work to understand your unique situations, and prepare relevant therapy plans based on collaborative goal setting.
I earned my master’s degree in clinical professional psychology from Roosevelt University. I am married and am a mom to three boys and two cats. I also teach tae kwon do where we believe a commitment to hard work toward individual growth is essential.
