She earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Marygrove College and immediately pursued her Master’s in Social Work through Wayne State University’s Advanced Standing Program. Lynn provides both therapy and assessment services for children, young adults, individuals, and families, using an integrated approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. She creates an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles, move forward, and thrive. Lynn approaches therapy and assessment as healing processes, helping to answer deep-seated questions individuals may have about themselves or their children. She believes that through motivation and time, change happens when people receive the support they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. With many changes over recent years due to the global pandemic, the way services are provided has evolved. As families grow and develop through this period, Lynn is here to support these transitions by offering both telehealth and in-person therapy sessions. Lynn has worked in a variety of settings with diverse clients, providing both long-term and brief interventions. Her areas of expertise in therapy include: - Play therapy using PLAY Autism Intervention for children on the autism spectrum or with related concerns - Children and adolescents with behavioral and mood issues - Anxiety and depression - Individual and group therapy - Family therapy - Life stresses and next steps She also offers a range of assessment and evaluation services, including: - Neurodevelopmental issues, such as Autism and ADHD - Academic and learning disabilities - Diagnosis of mood and trauma-related concerns
