“She really took the time to get to understand and know me and the issues im having. Some of them I didnt even know I was having, but she was able to identify certain problems I was having within one meeting. The "homework" she gave to help work on these things are super easy and simple and should provide the results we are after!”

“I've really enjoy talking to Lynn! She is so sweet, calm, and patient. A great person to go to if you've never gone to therapy before. I feel very comfortable opening up to her! She also always gives me "homework" to do between sessions. The homework gives me steps to actively take in order to achieve my therapy goals. It's encouraging to implement the things she has taught me, and she's taught me a lot :)”

Getting to know Lynn McCormick

Hi there, I'm Lynn. Do you ever feel like the stress of life is starting to take over? Are you wanting to bring back the excitement and joy you once felt in your relationships, daily activities, or work? Maybe you're struggling to be patient and kind with yourself, or finding it hard to make the best decisions because everything feels overwhelming right now. I help individuals manage stress and anxiety so they can avoid burnout and emotional exhaustion. Together, we will explore your triggers, thought patterns, and the behaviors that are helping-or hindering-your well-being. My approach is holistic, focusing on caring for the whole person. I draw from multiple therapeutic styles, but I frequently incorporate mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you build awareness, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. Whether you're overwhelmed by life decisions, navigating relationship challenges, or trying to break free from unhealthy cycles, I'm here to walk alongside you. I know seeking therapy can feel intimidating, but choosing to take this step is a powerful and courageous act. Having a safe, supportive space to process and heal allows you to grow and move beyond the obstacles you're facing. In our work together, you can expect understanding without judgment, practical tools backed by experience, and a collaborative relationship focused on helping you move toward a more fulfilled and grounded life. I look forward to supporting you on your journey and watching you grow into the version of yourself that you're striving to become.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You should expect a healthy and therapeutic environment that is sympathetic, understanding and safe. My role is to provide insight into what I am observing, counsel on possible ways to handle the issues that you are facing, and effective techniques that have been shown to be beneficial in treating the root cause of the issues. All our sessions will be safe, open, and supportive for healing and growth to occur. As the sessions develop you will begin to utilize the coping skills and lifestyle changes in your life so that you will be able to apply these skills independently.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Absolutely the best therapist I have ever had, and I am super picky and gone through many therapists. Lynn has gotten me through one of the hardest times of my life and never made me feel judged or pitied. Was by my side every step of the way and I could not do this without her!!
She is wonderful all around!!
Her responses to my thoughts/questions/concerns prove that she’s a great listener. She’s the kind of person that you’d run to when you need comforting and good, sound advice. She’s the best. Always makes herself available via chat. She is super friendly and intelligent. Highly recommended.
Lynn is also warm, Holistic, she guides me to help me find solution to problems or difficult situations. She is sweet and open minded. I feel like I can tell her anything/everything and that she genuinely cares about my well-being. I would not change her for anyone else! She's has a unique counseling approach and irradiates a soothing inner peace ??
