Psychotherapist

There's a common statement people like to say when it comes to mental health - "It's ok to not be ok." The thing is, that's 100% true! Many of us have not been taught how to manage our emotions, let alone even be aware of how we are truly feeling. Often times, we either bury those feelings deep inside and hope we can somehow manage to proceed with life as is or constantly fixate on those thoughts and emotions but don't really know what to do with them. This is where I can help. My ultimate goal as your therapist is to provide a space where you can show up as your authentic self and feel validated, safe, and supported. I earned my Master’s Degree of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston in 2023 and have had the privilege of working with refugees and immigrants, children, adolescents, young adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress management, anger management and interpersonal relationship challenges. Whether you're facing a difficult season or looking to better understand yourself, I'm here to walk alongside you with genuine compassion, curiosity, and care. I am someone who likes to keep it authentic with clients and work alongside them through what we may consider in life as the good, the bad, and the ugly! You do not have to do it alone - we are in this together.
