Lynne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida (SW 8397) and a long-term resident of Panama City. For the past 17 years Lynne has worked in different settings to provide counseling services to a broad range of individuals which include: Children as a HOPE Counselor in Bay District Schools. Lynn assisted through direct counseling services as well as through program design and psychoeducational assistance to teachers and parents to best support the Child’s growth. Children and families at Children’s Home Society of Florida in Panama City both as a Program Supervisor and as a Counselor II. Lynn’s focus included training and supervising staff and direct services in the individual and group format helping Emotionally handicapped and severely Emotionally Disturbed students in all grades. Active-duty military and their families stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base as a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist. Her services included assessment, direct counseling services including in home interventions. Lynne believes her role as a counselor is to assist individuals, couples, and families to find solutions to the challenges they are facing through guiding the ways clients ask questions about their lives and then applying clear skills-based solutions. She tailors interventions to meet the needs of her clients drawing on a broad range of psychotherapy techniques. Lynne sees therapy as a collaborative process and considers it a privilege to share that journey of growth and healing with her clients.
