Hi, I’m Lynnette Piña, the owner of Creative Waves Therapy and a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating (and honestly, even figuring out where to start can feel like a lot), so my goal is to make that first step feel a little less overwhelming. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self, no judgment, no need to have the “perfect” words, and no pretending that everything is fine when it isn’t.
Sometimes life can feel heavy, and it can be difficult to know how to move forward. Whether you’re carrying painful experiences, navigating relationships, or trying to understand yourself in a deeper way, you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you begin your healing journey.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
