Lynsey Turner, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Lynsey! Relationships can be incredibly challenging and difficult. My name is Lynsey Turner, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping others grow in their relationships amid challenges. I help teens, families, couples, and individual adults communicate more effectively to deepen their connections while also supporting them through difficulties with anxiety and depression. I earned my bachelor's degree from Biola University, which laid a strong foundation for my work in therapy. My approach I like to first explore family and relationship history to better understand an individual or couple. From there, we collaboratively create a plan to address present issues. This often involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Attachment theory. I also support couples who need help communicating more effectively and understanding each other's needs through Emotionally Focused Therapy. My focus I typically work with teens, individual adults, families, and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles. I also work with women facing infertility, pregnancy difficulties, and postpartum depression and anxiety. My communication style I take a calm, collaborative approach. My hope is for clients to feel heard and understood, receiving support and encouragement from me as they face whatever challenges bring them into therapy.
