I have worked as a therapist for a number of years in various settings—including as a clinical supervisor for master’s-level therapists, the owner of my own private practice, in school environments, and within the child welfare community. I am skilled at connecting with people where they are in their journey and supporting them from that place. I consider myself more eclectic, drawing from different therapeutic modalities based on the client’s needs. When one approach doesn’t resonate or prove helpful, we try another. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University. I have also spent significant time on my own emotional and spiritual journey, which has deepened my experience and ability to guide others. My work spans a broad age range—from young children to retired individuals. I particularly enjoy working with couples and groups, as I have a strong understanding of group dynamics. Additionally, I have experience supporting LGBTQ individuals, especially women and men coming out later in life. I look forward to assisting others in their unique journeys, whatever they may be.
