Hi there! I am so grateful you're here! I'm Madalyn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and experience in medical and mental health settings. I have extensive experience working with teens, adults, and everyone in between! I strive to curate a safe space where you can feel both seen and heard. I specialize in working with anxiety, chronic illness, stress, relationship issues, and those going through a period of adjustment-whether that be a new diagnosis, a recent move, or a breakup, we will move through it together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Your experiences are unique, & I believe your therapy experience should be too. I am a strong believer that there's no one-size-fits-all approach in therapy. Our sessions will be tailored to meet your specific needs, utilizing elements from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Solution-Focused Therapy. Thinking about starting therapy can be a scary process, & I am here to help you through the entire journey! What is your typical process for working with clients?

My focus will be to provide you with a safe, collaborative environment to explore your concerns and work towards your personal goals. As we work together, you can expect to gain a greater understanding of yourself--your motivations, the unhelpful patterns you use to cope, and a deeper awareness of your core values. You can also expect to learn practical, common-sense tools to implement in your everyday life - tools that can help you show up more effectively for yourself, and in your relationships. I have experience with a variety of ages, in a variety of settings utilizing an eclectic approach, with elements of CBT, MI, SFBT, and more.
