Getting to know Maddie Becker

People I work with often express feeling “stuck,” finding it hard to figure out what is keeping them in a rut or struggling to break free from cycles they no longer want to be in. They share challenges with maintaining meaningful friendships and romantic relationships, managing their confidence and anxiety, and feeling worried they'll never achieve their hopes and dreams. Through our work together, I feel hopeful we can help you learn how to skillfully navigate the ups and downs of life and relationships, feel more self-assured, and confidently manage thoughts and feelings that keep you from thriving. I use EMDR and IFS-informed therapy to uplift your self-worth and help you let go of unhelpful patterns and limiting beliefs about yourself. In my work, I tend to focus on addressing anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, women's issues, and the effects of narcissistic relationships, so I wonder if we'd be a good fit for this season of your life. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Denver University and a Master's in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University. I do not take for granted that in order to come into therapy, you are entrusting me with parts of you that might feel overwhelming, vulnerable, and unfamiliar. If you'll let me, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you share your story with me. I look forward to meeting you!
