Were you always the girl who had it all together, but now, as an adult, you’re wondering what the heck you’re doing? Does reassurance never feel like enough? Does uncertainty keep you up at night? Can you not even sit through the cool-down of your workout without thinking about everything you should be doing? Maybe your brain has a million tabs open—replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, and preparing for what could go wrong—only to beat yourself up when something does. Hi, I’m Maddie! I help women who are exhausted from fighting with their own minds. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, and self-esteem. Rather than fighting your thoughts or trying to make anxiety disappear, we’ll work on changing your relationship with it. Using CBT and ACT, we’ll practice stepping out of overthinking and reassurance cycles, making room for uncertainty, and responding to yourself with less criticism and more self-trust. My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I believe therapy can be both compassionate and challenging—a place to feel understood, get curious, and try something different. You spend enough of your life second-guessing yourself and trying to get it “right”—you don’t have to do that here. Come as you are. I’d love to hear from you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with individuals who are tired of feeling like life is happening to them and want to be put back in the driver’s seat. They may be struggling with stress, lack of confidence, relationships, anxiety, motivation, personal identity, or difficult life transitions. They are seeking security, confidence, and happiness and want to reach their fullest potential. They are willing to dig deep into self-reflection and want to learn skills to self-soothe, think more positively, and communicate better with others.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

By asking insightful questions, challenging you, and offering support, I will teach you skills to self-soothe, reframe your thinking, explore important moments in your past and examine your present day behaviors and relationships. We will set goals to help you improve your confidence, form stronger relationships, have less anxiety and practice positive thinking. My goal is to get you to a place where you no longer need me, but you are always welcome when you do. An equally important goal of mine is to help my clients improve their relationships with others. I feel the quality of one’s relationships has a very large impact on mental health. By examining one’s attachment style, communication, and needs you will begin to form positive relationships with others. I love to share what I know with the world by offering psychoeducation, helping you find confidence, happiness, peace, and positive relationships.
