Madeline Mazzotta, LCSW

Psychotherapist
PA
Hi, I’m Maddy Mazzotta, LCSW, and I provide virtual therapy for adolescents and adults across Pennsylvania. I specialize in working with pre-teens, teens, and adults who struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, relationship issues, burnout, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty feeling “good enough.” Many of my clients are thoughtful, creative, sensitive people who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, people-pleasing, or constant pressure to keep up. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I value authenticity in the therapy room and strive to create a space where clients can show up honestly without fear of judgment. Together, we will work on understanding your patterns, building self-trust, improving coping skills, and creating a more peaceful, joyful, and balanced life. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each client’s unique personality, goals, and experiences. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, career stress, relationships, codependency, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I currently offer virtual appointments for clients throughout Pennsylvania.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a holistic approach to therapy informed by my background in social work, nutrition, life coaching, and the creative and performing arts. I believe healing does not happen in isolation; every aspect of our lives is interconnected. As we explore what brings you to therapy, we may also look at your lifestyle, relationships, creativity, values, and the patterns or experiences that may be keeping you stuck - or that may hold important insight for growth and change. I believe that all of the answers you need are inside of you - you contain multitudes of wisdom. As a therapist with years of experience, I've become skilled at asking the right questions and holding up the mirror so that you can uncover all of the answers that you need.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In my experience, the first few sessions are very much exploratory. You're getting to know me and I'm getting to know you! During that exploration phase, we will collaborate on a treatment path that feels good to you. Then, the work begins. Typical sessions will feel gently structured, insightful, and conversational. I pull from several modalities, including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), ERP (Exposure Response Prevention), Internal Family Systems (parts-work), among others. Therapy is not one size fits all. We will work together to ensure you are receiving the kind of support that moves you toward the changes you seek! If my profile is speaking to you, let's set up a free 15-minute consultation so that we can begin to explore if working together is the right fit.
