Getting to know Madilynn Nolen

Do you find yourself questioning the choices you make in life or how you experience relationships? You are not alone. With nearly 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families, I am here to assist you in gaining a better understanding of yourself and to work toward becoming a happier, healthier you. In building a trusting relationship that's non-judgmental and genuine, I meet you where you are. We will work together to help you gain better insight and address the emotional and mental difficulties that may be present due to past and current stressors. I work with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, behavioral issues, ADHD, mood disorders, family conflict, relationship issues, low self-esteem, codependency, and coping challenges. I assist in empowering them to develop emotional regulation, healthier cognitive skills and behaviors, and coping strategies to improve their lives. I hold a Master's in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor's degree from Henderson State University. I hope to talk to you soon!

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is my intention to create a trusting relationship that will allow you to feel comfortable with sharing your story. As we begin our therapeutic alliance, we will establish goals as well as an individualized plan to begin our journey together, towards an emotionally and mentally healthier you. We will process thoughts and feelings about current stressors, work to increase coping strategies to address them, and challenge any negative thought processes that may interfere with achieving goals. Also, we will address any unresolved issues that may contribute to unhealthy thoughts patterns and behaviors.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
