What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am passionate about supporting children and families through life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and care. I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach, which means I focus on helping you recognize and build upon your existing strengths while working toward meaningful growth and healing. Our work begins with getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. In early sessions, we’ll explore current challenges, relevant history, and the strengths you already possess. Together, we will identify clear goals and create a collaborative plan tailored to your needs. In ongoing sessions, I use evidence-based, trauma-informed strategies to help you better understand patterns, develop coping tools, and practice new skills. With children and families, sessions may incorporate age-appropriate activities, family collaboration, and skill-building exercises. Throughout the process, I check in regularly to ensure our work feels aligned, supportive, and effective. Therapy with me is a partnership. My role is to guide and support you, while honoring your pace and helping you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.
