Getting to know Madison Schieber

I have always been drawn to the power of empathy, and as a therapist, I make it a priority to incorporate this value into my work. I believe that by understanding and empathizing with my clients, I can create a strong therapeutic relationship that promotes growth and transformation. I recognize that each individual has their own unique story and experiences, and I am committed to listening with compassion and without judgment. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, I strive to help my clients overcome their challenges and achieve their goals. I use evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness to empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as we work toward long-term healing and growth. Together, we will identify and understand stressors, develop positive coping skills, increase self-awareness, and recognize and celebrate strengths. I have a history of providing therapy to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My experience includes working with neurodivergent children in an outpatient setting and clients ranging from adolescents to geriatric adults in a hospital, addressing a variety of mental health disorders, trauma histories, and life experiences. As a clinician, it is of utmost importance to meet clients where they are as we navigate different experiences, thoughts, and emotions. To best support clients, I utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Play Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
