What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous. In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other, talk about what brought you in, and figure out what you’d like to get out of therapy. You don’t need to have it all figured out or know exactly what to say. That’s what we’ll work on together. I’ll always be honest and direct with you, and I want you to feel comfortable doing the same with me, including telling me if something isn’t working. Therapy with me is a judgment-free space, whether you’re dealing with stress, relationships, mental health concerns, or substance use. You set the pace, and we’ll adjust along the way as your needs change. I offer both in-person sessions at our Farmington office and telehealth, so we can find what fits your schedule.
