I look forward to getting to know who you are and what is important to you. After seeing the impact of counseling in one's life, I knew counseling was my calling, and I strive to be the best I can be in order to help you. I love working with clients from all different backgrounds and work to ensure any and all diversity is celebrated and included in the counseling process. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Magdalena Bennett is supervised by Catrina R. Drinning-Davis.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We can all use a little help (myself included!) and I believe that your mental health is just as important to care for as the rest of your body. My goal is to hold space for you and all that you come with-even the “messy” stuff-so we can work together to help you get where you want to be. I have a special interst in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self-image issues, and self-harm, among others. Through counseling, we’ll set goals, work on skills, and build up who are you so you can be successful in your life, in whatever way that looks to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

If you are in need of an Emotional Support Animal Letter for housing or flying, I would love to help you with that. I know sometimes life demands are tight, so I can offer the ESA letter within 24 hours of our appointment, if you qualify. I am also offering multiple support groups. If you have a specific group you are interested in, please message me, and I will let you know if we have enough people to start that group if it not already available!
