My journey to mental healthcare My journey into mental health care was shaped by both personal experience and a deep-rooted passion for helping others feel seen, heard, and supported—especially those from communities, like my own, that often face stigma around mental health. As a bilingual Latinx therapist, I understand how culture, identity, and lived experience shape the way we navigate the world, and I was drawn to this work because I wanted to be someone who could hold space for that. Over time, I saw how powerful therapy could be when it was accessible, culturally attuned, and grounded in empathy. That’s what led me to become a provider and offer care that is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and focused on real connection. Whether I’m working in a community clinic or providing telehealth through Headway, my goal is always to help people build insight, feel empowered, and move toward healing—on their terms and at their own pace.
