I recognize that healing takes courage and creativity. My passion is to provide a safe place for clients to explore their rich inner lives. I serve as a professional guide on the journey my clients are embarking on in therapy. I bring compassion, acceptance, curiosity, and tools to support my clients' growth. I believe in using the therapeutic relationship to support the healing work toward a whole self. Through this relationship, I encourage my clients to utilize their internal resources to make the changes they want in their lives. Most of all, I am here to be with my clients as a reminder that they are not alone in their pain. I offer hope that healing is possible. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and have been a licensed therapist for 15 years. I utilize psychodynamic, somatic, attachment, and EMDR therapy to obtain favorable outcomes for clients. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and all major life transitions. I have experience working with children ages 5 to 17, couples, and adults. My work spans private practice, schools, non-profits, and inpatient facilities. Radical Acceptance is the willingness to experience ourselves and our lives as they are. - Tara Brach
