Getting to know Maggie Conrad

Hi there, my name is Maggie and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a passion for supporting, holding and educating clients while they embark on the journey of life. Most of my experience have been working with people in various capacities, through sport/coaching, community programs and development and began in the mental health field over 12 years ago, with 10 years of experience as a masters level social worker. I have specific behavioral health experience working in environments including intensive mobile therapy, school based programs, psychiatric hospital, community mental health, and currently private practice. I specialize in working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and family systems. It's most important to me that there is a strong therapeutic alliance that we foster together, and to follow your lead throughout your journey in therapy. I provide an open and warm environment with gentle nudges so you can process as well as learn strategies for coping, better management of your symptoms and to explore your past, present and future experiences. I will meet you where you are in each session, wherever that may be.

I love how Maggie is so open, asks probing questions, and continually has me thinking about how I can adjust my situational awareness. I would 100% recommend Maggie to friends and/or colleagues.
I was skeptical at first. Maggie made me feel comfortable within 10 minutes. She was attentive and focused on my lifeline. After my first consult, I found value in a place I didn't think was for me. Im glad I got to meet Maggie. It was nice talking to someone who was not emotionally committed to me or my history. Im looking forward to a weekly chat. I'm optimistic about the process, which I was not in before.
