Getting to know Maggie Miller

Hello, I welcome you to this transformative partnership. I am thankful to offer both my passion and my expertise in supporting adults, 18 years and older, residing in Florida. With specialization in treating the wounds of trauma, navigating the complexities of grief, and managing the depths of anxiety, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to guide you toward personal growth. I earned my Master's in Art Therapy from Florida State University in 2010 and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2013. I have developed a unique perspective through my work in dually diagnosed outpatient settings, inpatient units, and with active-duty military personnel. Recognizing the distinct needs of each individual, I am privileged to tailor a personalized and holistic approach to care. BUSINESS HOURS are Eastern Standard Time: Monday: 10a-7p, Tuesday: 9a-6:30p, Wednesday: 9a-4:30p, Thursday: 9a-6:30p. Self-pay rate-Individual Session: 45 minutes-$110, 60 minutes-$140 (Virtual and in person). Sessions typically run 43–57 minutes. Late Cancellation/No Call No Show (NCNS) Fee: $60.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Typically, we will meet and discuss your symptoms and the best treatment options for you. EMDR sessions can be conducted virtually and will focus on areas that are identified during the first few sessions. Treatment length depends on the number of issues you want to address. For grief and anxiety, time will be spent exploring your feelings and finding ways to develop resources that enable you to feel confident in your abilities to manage your emotions. The techniques I offer require direct practice and sometimes homework to be able to get the best results. Those who are committed to these find relief and confidence in themselves to manage life circumstances.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

She was lovely to work with and I’m sad to have lost her as a therapist. I only ended care because I moved out of state.

I did my first EMDR treatment and it was weird and I was drained after that night didn’t feel good but they next day o felt lighter and had no anxiety and had a day without tears so I’m going to keep it up and trust Maggie and the process
She is very good and has helped a lot !
She's really helping me work through things and giving me positive ways to deal with my stress and anxiety in everyday situations.
I felt very comfortable sharing with Ms. Miller quite quickly, which is awesome vs. taking many sessions to get comfortable or just not working out at all.
