TX
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with degrees from Houston Baptist University and Texas A&M University. I have experience working with adolescent and adult clients in both private practice and treatment center settings, specifically to address: • addiction recovery (sex and love, and chemical dependency) • infertility and reproductive challenges • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder • ADHD • trauma • anxiety • depression • identity exploration (including LGBTQ+ identity exploration) • personality disorders • life adjustments I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and received specified training for mental health professionals by ASRM to work with individuals and couples navigating infertility, assisted reproductive technology (IVF and IUI), pregnancy loss, donor conception, and the emotional challenges of family-building. Finally, I believe full-heartedly in looking holistically at who you are as a person- the biological, psychological, and social factors that combine to make you your distinctive self. I will work with you to create a plan that best addresses what you would like to tackle using a humanistic approach combined with CBT and DBT-style techniques. I value open communication, compassion, and teamwork, so I will work hard to create a space for you or your child that allows vulnerability and productive progress.
