What should a new client know about working with you?

I pull from multiple different theories to adapt to where you are, your needs, and your style of working. Based on the goals we create, we may use some behavioral techniques, such as exposure response prevention, along side less structured talk therapy where we might explore relational patterns, find deep held beliefs, or get in touch with hard to reach emotions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients will first book a session through Zoc Doc. After a session is booked, clients are given access to a patient portal, where they can join sessions, fill out paperwork, and see their insurance billing. In your first session, you’ll discuss your concerns, life, and history, as well as your goals for therapy. I will share my approach and what to expect going forward, and we’ll both get a sense of whether it’s the right fit.
