Malgorzata Jaksina, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CT
I’m a warm, collaborative Marriage & Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families feel grounded, understood, and supported. Over the past nine years, I’ve worked across Connecticut’s community mental health system, including adult outpatient services, jail diversion programs, child and family services, extended day treatment, adolescent and adult substance use treatment, intensive in‑home family therapy, and extensive clinical work with service members, Veterans, and first responders. My therapeutic style is integrative and trauma‑informed, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, attachment‑based models, and somatic awareness practices. I help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and build secure, meaningful relationships with themselves and others. I believe healing happens within compassionate, attuned relationships. Clients often share that they feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered in our work together. Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I offer a safe, steady space for meaningful change.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
