Malia is great. She is patient, kind, and understanding. She listens well and offers me realistic ways for me to manage my stress and anxiety. She guides me in a way that makes me feel comfortable, calmand cared for. Therapy has changed my life for the better!
..
Disclaimer - you’re always going to get out what you put into it - but having a therapist as good as Malia in your corner is a cheat code. I started working with her right out of inpatient treatment, moved into a new residence and started a new job and our first appointment was directly after same day. A year later and I can barely recognize myself in the best way. She is a keen listener, asks questions to challenge my thinking, and always leaves decisions up to me without judgement. Malia always goes the extra mile to drum up an activity or reflection at the end of sessions. She really cares, and I’m lucky to be a client.
I thoroughly enjoy my appointments with Malia. She has made me feel so welcomed and comfortable in all of our sessions. I particularly love that she is a strong Christian and often quotes the Bible in our sessions, giving me great faith based advice. I would recommend her to anyone!
Always a pleasure meeting with Malia. She’s my first (and hopefully ever) therapist. I’ve been seeing her for about 10 months now. She has made me feel very safe and comfortable with opening up and sharing. Her knowledge and expertise is very forthcoming and utilized. Her guidance has encouraged me to continue my one on one therapy so I can further my own growth and goals.
