My name is Malissa Horan; LMHC. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a concentration of Social Work; at New York Institute of Technology. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling; at CUNY Queens College. As a psychotherapist; I learned how to utilize a person-centered and integrated approach to be patient; build rapport; and be a strong advocate for all my clients. I feel it is imperative to utilize various techniques and approaches to best assist my clients with achieving their goals; and develop positive coping skills.
