Getting to know Mallory Beckwith

Hi, my name is Mallory Beckwith, LPC. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from St. Edward’s University and specialize in helping clients recover from narcissistic abuse and bipolar disorder. I also treat Complex PTSD, anxiety, and depression. To support my clients’ healing, I primarily use solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I have a direct approach with my clients, yet I am extremely compassionate. I validate my clients and quickly build a healthy therapeutic relationship with those who work with me. Please do not hesitate to reach out—it would be great to hear from you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is my mission to help you heal and recover from whatever you are dealing with. I will not only give you a 5 star therapy experience but I will also provide you with resources to use in between sessions as well. I limit my capacity to 15 sessions a week so I can focus on each and every client who decides to work with me.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you schedule a 45 minute session with me through ZocDoc, I will send you the link to our session via SimplePractice. During our first session we will get to know each other and go over informed consent paperwork and discuss confidentiality. Together we will discuss what you want to work on in our sessions and I will write down some goals you want to set for treatment. These sessions are ultimately yours and I will provide feedback, guidance, and be a sounding board for you. By the end of the first session we will have created a roadmap for you and you will know what to expect when meeting with me for future appointments.
