Hi there, I'm Mallory! Hi! My name is Mallory, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I embrace the notion that every individual is a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously. My passion lies in supporting individuals through their unique paths of healing, self-discovery, and growth. Each phase of life brings its own challenges, and I am here to guide you through those challenges. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), we will focus on tolerating distress, regulating emotions, and building healthy relationships. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we will examine and reshape unhelpful thoughts holding you back. With Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness meets action-we will explore your values and actions that align with them. My focus I graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago with a master's degree in social work, and I hold a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My background includes work in non-profit organizations, school social work, private practice, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs. I have worked with clients of all age groups, including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Furthermore, I have supported people dealing with various life conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, mood disorders, life changes, and transitions. My communication style I have a relaxed and non-judgmental communication style in sessions. My style is conversational, and I utilize active listening, motivational interviewing, and a strengths-based approach. I will support and assist you in setting goals for yourself and working towards them through conversations, as well as providing education on coping skills and tools as needed-rooted in DBT, CBT, and ACT.
