I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I have experience working with college students, immigrants and refugees. As a first generation immigrant myself, my passion is to support people, understand their experience and make sense of their past. I have worked with refugees to help them make sense of changes in their life and process their trauma.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When I worked at Onondaga community college as a counselor, I helped students from very different backgrounds process the changes in their life and help create future goals. This has increased my passion to work with young adults to help navigate one of the most confusing parts of their lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. I use a goal-oriented approach have experience in CBT, Narrative therapy and have gotten extensive training in Motivational Interviewing
