Psychotherapist

I specialize in OCD and use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the most effective, evidence-based treatment for OCD. Beyond our sessions, you'll have access to ongoing support when you need it most, including direct messaging, support groups, and real-time help when OCD symptoms spike My approach to treating OCD is, first and foremost, person-centered and collaborative. There will be times of discomfort, but I will be there to guide you through them. This is a safe space, and there is no judgment. I specialize in OCD because it is highly misunderstood and so many people are suffering from it. My other professional specialties include treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, and alcohol use disorder. My personal connection to OCD and mental health OCD is in my family, but I didn't discover that I have it until I started taking medication for panic attacks. On the medication, I had more mental clarity, and I stopped doing a lot of the OCD behaviors. Being able to look back and go, "Oh my goodness. I had OCD all that time," was an eye-opener. How I create a safe, supportive environment in therapy First and foremost, I believe in being authentic and present with my Members. I'll keep our sessions very positive and show empathy, while also encouraging you to move forward. My message to you if you're considering therapy This is truly the gold standard of therapy for OCD. It is scientifically proven, and I've seen it work for my Members. It's also safe. I'll never make you do anything you don't want to do, and it could seriously change your life for the better. What my Members say helps them feel comfortable with me My Members appreciate that I'm present, I listen intently, and I dig deeper. I don't just go through the motions. If I notice something, I'll mention it and ask questions because I think those kinds of moments make therapy real and rewarding.
