Psychotherapist

If you’re looking for a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I would be glad to work with you. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) with more than seven years of experience in the mental health field. I work with people of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on adolescents ages 16 and older and adults navigating anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, emotional challenges, stress management, relationship challenges, concerns about how you see yourself, and significant life transitions. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or uncertain about how to move forward. My goal is to work with you to develop greater awareness of yourself, recognize your strengths, build healthy coping strategies, and create meaningful changes in your life. To me, therapy is a process where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward your personal goals. I believe in the importance of empathy, collaboration, and recognizing each individual’s unique experiences and strengths. These values guide me in being a supportive, understanding, and compassionate partner throughout your therapeutic journey. I look forward to working together in exploring your goals, building on your strengths, and taking meaningful steps toward becoming the YOU you want to be.

What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not accepting Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My passion for mental health comes from a desire to care for and support others. Education and professional experience have given me a deeper appreciation for the complexities of mental health and for the experiences that shape each individual. Those experiences reinforced my belief in compassionate, individualized care and in the value of feeling supported. I bring openness and respect to each therapeutic relationship now, honoring each person’s own path.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Meaningful change, I believe, begins with awareness of yourself and a willingness to explore new perspectives. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside collaborative interventions that center the patient, so you can recognize unhelpful thought patterns, better understand your emotions, and develop effective coping strategies. Along the way, I’m passionate about helping you gain insight into your experiences, build confidence, establish healthier relationships, and develop the tools to handle life’s challenges. That passion shapes what sessions feel like. You can expect a warm environment where you feel at ease expressing yourself openly, and a conversational, reflective style that lets us explore your experiences, thoughts, and emotions at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I meet you where you are while encouraging reflection, accountability, and personal growth, and tailor interventions supported by evidence to your needs and treatment goals.
