What should a new client know about working with you?

*Please fill out all paperwork at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. WE REQUIRE A CARD ON FILE for all clients in the event of late cancellation or no show. Failure to complete paperwork within the requested time frame WILL result in a rescheduled appointment.* Therapy can seem like a daunting task. Our worlds already seem like they are filled to the brim with chaos and desires for connection. I hope to bring a different lens to the work we do by offering a safe, affirmative place for clients to be their genuine selves. With over 14 years of experience, I provide an honest and open point of view with a skillset to match any mental health need. I am a Trainer Candidate for the Humanitarian Assistance Program/Trauma Recovery Network in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I offer an eclectic mix of therapies and believe that no two sessions are alike. I want to make sure that each client is seen and the treatment provided matches their overall goals and personal strengths and needs. If that sounds like you, let’s talk!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

For every client at Loving Counseling, we begin with an intake to gather necessary information about our client's history. This can include everything from family dynamics (current and past), family history of mental illness, current and historic stressors, major life events, current symptoms, family history of suicidality, and more. After the intake, the first session with clients we begin treatment planning and go from there to determine client readiness to tackle issues.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $150 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $100 for 60 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

I take BCBS Commercial, Optum/UHC/UMR, Aetna. We are NOT in network with Medicare at this time. We accept credit cards for payment. We maintain a credit card on file for any possible no-show fees that must be charged without cancellations in 24 hours.
