Hi, I’m Maranda. I support individuals navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and those “what am I even doing with my life?” career moments. While distraction and hustle culture can temporarily help us avoid painful emotions, those experiences eventually catch up to us. My work focuses on helping people confront and navigate what they’re carrying in a warm, collaborative, and real way. I don’t promise overnight transformation, but I do offer a supportive space where we can figure things out and make meaningful change together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients should know that I show up as my authentic self and create a space that feels safe, supportive, and honest. My approach is warm and person-centered, and I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative. I listen closely and tailor our work to your unique experiences and goals. I’m especially passionate about grief work and understand that loss can take many forms, including the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or major life changes. I won’t rush the process, but I will walk alongside you as we work toward lasting change. For clients who desire it, I can also incorporate faith practices into our work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I use a blend of CBT and person-centered approaches, but more importantly, I focus on listening and building a strong therapeutic relationship. Together, we explore patterns, emotions, and experiences—especially around anxiety, grief, and life transitions. From there, I encourage insight paired with action, helping clients accept, redefine, and find purpose after loss while working toward long-term, sustainable change. I also offer a free consultation to ensure we’re a good fit before beginning.
