Hi, I’m Maranice, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and New Jersey. I earned my Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from New Jersey City University and moved to Texas in 2014, where I established Good Counsel Therapy’s home base while continuing to support clients virtually in New Jersey. Since beginning my clinical work in 2015, I’ve been passionate about helping individuals and couples improve their well-being by addressing mental health challenges like trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. My approach is client-directed and mindfulness-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and other evidence-based practices. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together to identify patterns, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
