Hi there, I'm Marcellous! I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where children, teens, and adults can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My approach is practical, strengths-based, and focused on helping clients build coping skills, confidence, emotional regulation, and healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges. My focus I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, anger, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and challenges with self-esteem or emotional regulation. I especially enjoy helping young people build confidence, strengthen coping skills, improve decision-making, and feel more successful at home, and school. My approach My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I focus on building trust first, then use evidence-based strategies such as CBT, solution-focused techniques, and skill building to help clients understand their emotions, improve coping skills, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change. My communication style My communication style is warm, authentic, supportive, and direct. I create a judgment-free environment where clients can be themselves and speak openly. I listen first, ask meaningful questions, and provide honest feedback while meeting clients where they are. I also incorporate humor and relatable conversations when appropriate. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, supported, and understood. My passion for this work grew from serving children, teens, families, and communities and seeing the impact that consistent support can have. I strive to be the kind of provider who builds trust, recognizes strengths.
