Getting to know Mareike EveryGiroux

Many people who enter into the therapeutic space find that what they are really seeking is someone to compassionately witness their journey and a space to share their feelings without judgment. I have found that most success comes from working collaboratively with an attitude of curiosity and a willingness to explore internal experiences and external patterns together. I work with a wide variety of clients from adolescents to elders, individuals, couples and dyads, threading together many approaches including mindfulness, psychotherapy and liberation health theory. I have more extensive experience in substance use disorders, social justice considerations, LBGTQIAP+ and perinatal emotional care. I graduated from Smith School for Social Work in 2009 with a Masters in Clinical Social Work and have stayed connected to emerging developments in this work through teaching social work students. I look forward to partnering with you to guide you in finding your own inner wisdom.
