Getting to know Maren O Slater

As a therapist, my top priority is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you as you begin this vulnerable journey of self-healing. I value offering empathetic, direct, and evidence-based support and guidance to help you develop healthy habits and thinking patterns that can change your life. I believe that having a strong therapeutic relationship is a key factor for success, which is why I use a strengths-based approach, humor, and incorporate your interests and passions into therapy. I specialize in trauma and have ample training and experience with PTSD, depression, anxiety, family conflict, teens, and behavioral issues. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah. I love what I do and appreciate your trust and authenticity as you begin this process. In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the guitar, sports, and snuggling with my dog and two cats. I love living in Utah near the mountains, where I spend most of my weekends snowboarding, camping, or hiking. I am blessed with a loving and supportive family who I adore.
